Cometic Intake Manifold Gasket Set | Ford Mustang 5.0L Coyote (2011–2014) / 5.2L Voodoo (2015–2018) | C15444
Cometic Intake Manifold Gasket Set – Ford Mustang 5.0L Coyote (2011–2014) / 5.2L Voodoo (2015–2018) | C15444
Fits 2011–2014 Ford Mustang GT / Boss 302 (5.0L Gen 1 Coyote) and 2015–2018 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 / GT350R (5.2L Voodoo). If you have a 2015–2017 Mustang GT or Bullitt with the 5.0L Gen 2 Coyote, confirm C15444 compatibility before ordering — the Gen 2 Coyote intake manifold port geometry may differ. Not for the 4.6L or 5.4L modular engines.
Cometic C15444 intake manifold gasket set for the Ford Mustang 5.0L Gen 1 Coyote (2011–2014) and 5.2L Voodoo flat-plane V8 (GT350/GT350R, 2015–2018). Full set of intake port gaskets covering all eight intake ports on these DOHC 32-valve modular V8 engines. Tested on street and track — no sealant required. 0.1 lbs. Ships fast across Canada and the US.
Application Coverage — Coyote and Voodoo
The C15444 covers two distinct Ford modular V8 families that share intake manifold port geometry:
- 5.0L Gen 1 Coyote (2011–2014): The DOHC 32-valve 5.0L introduced in the S197 Mustang GT for 2011. 412 HP in stock GT tune; higher output in Boss 302 specification with revised intake porting and cam profiles. The Gen 1 Coyote’s composite OEM intake manifold is commonly removed for injector upgrades, port matching, supercharger base plate installation, cam swaps, and head removal.
- 5.2L Voodoo (2015–2018): Ford’s flat-plane crankshaft variant of the Coyote architecture, used exclusively in the Shelby GT350 and GT350R. The Voodoo produces 526 HP stock and is one of the most highly regarded naturally-aspirated V8s Ford has built for a production Mustang. Intake manifold removal on the Voodoo is required for similar service and performance work as the Coyote — and the correct gasket is critical given the GT350’s precision-engineered intake system.
When This Gasket Set Is Used
The intake manifold gasket set is replaced whenever the intake manifold is removed from the cylinder heads. Common reasons on the Coyote and Voodoo platforms:
- Fuel injector service: Injector cleaning, testing, or upgrading to larger injectors for forced induction builds requires intake manifold removal on these engines.
- Supercharger or forced induction installation: Roush, Whipple, Edelbrock, and other blower kits for the Coyote typically require removal of the OEM intake manifold and installation of a blower-specific base plate — new intake gaskets are required at reassembly.
- Cam upgrade: Performance cam installation on the Coyote/Voodoo requires intake manifold removal as part of the valve cover and cam access procedure on most builds.
- Port matching and porting: Removing the intake manifold for port matching to the cylinder head ports, or for intake manifold porting work on performance builds.
- Head removal: Cylinder head removal for head gasket replacement or head porting requires intake manifold removal first.
OEM intake manifold gaskets on the Coyote/Voodoo are single-use composite components — they must be replaced any time the manifold is disturbed. Reusing an OEM gasket after removal risks an intake vacuum leak.
Cometic Quality
Cometic Gasket is an Ohio-based manufacturer specialising in performance and racing gaskets for over 30 years. The C15444 has been validated on the street and on the dyno in Coyote and Voodoo applications. No sealant is required — install dry on clean, undamaged sealing surfaces. Torque to the intake manifold manufacturer’s specification.
2011–2014 Mustang GT / Boss 302 (Gen 1 Coyote) and 2015–2018 GT350 / GT350R (Voodoo) only. Confirm Gen 2 Coyote (2015–2017 GT) compatibility separately. No sealant required. Replace at every intake manifold removal.
