DBA’s 5000 Series 2-piece T3 slotted front rotor for the Nissan 370Z Sport, Infiniti G37 Sport (Coupe and Sedan), and Infiniti Q60 Sport — all fitted with Akebono Sport front calipers. XG-150 high carbon alloyed iron ring with symmetrical T3 slot pattern, paired with a T6061-T6 Aluma-lite aluminium hat in black anodised finish. 355mm outer diameter, 32mm thickness. Sold individually — one rotor per order.

The 5000 Series is DBA’s 2-piece direct-replacement rotor line, sharing all the performance technology of the 4000 Series with the added benefits of the aluminium hat design:

• High Carbon Alloyed Iron Ring: DBA’s high carbon alloyed iron formulation increases the thermal capacity of the rotor — handles repeated high-temperature brake cycles with greater resistance to heat fade and cracking. Optimal interaction with DBA’s Thermal Stability Profiling process
• Aluma-lite T6061-T6 Aluminium Hat: Extra lightweight 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium hat in black anodised finish. Reduces unsprung weight and minimises heat transfer from the rotor to the wheel hub — keeping bearing temperatures lower under hard braking. Hat is reusable — replacement rings sold separately
• Kangaroo Paw Vane Design: DBA’s patented Kangaroo Paw internal vane design provides up to 20% better heat dissipation compared to conventional vane designs, increasing braking effectiveness and prolonging rotor life
• Radial Expansion: 2-piece design allows the iron ring to expand radially under heat without constraint — reducing warping risk under repeated high-temperature cycles
• NAS Hardware: National Aerospace Standards (NAS) bolts and crimp nuts — maximum strength at minimal weight
• Replaceable Ring: DBA offers replacement flat disc rings separately — the aluminium hat can be reused when the ring wears out, reducing long-term replacement cost
