76-Pin Blue Connector — Confirming Compatibility
The NS13 is designed for ECU harnesses using the 76-pin blue header. This connector was used across multiple SR20DET and CA18DET variants, but not universally. Before ordering, pull your factory ECU and confirm the connector matches the 76-pin blue header shown in product images. Key fitment notes:
- S13 CA18DET (JDM 180SX): 76-pin blue — compatible
- S13 SR20DET (JDM 180SX / Silvia): 76-pin blue — compatible
- S14 Zenki (pre-facelift) SR20DET: 76-pin blue — compatible
- S14 Kouki (facelift) SR20DET: Different connector — NOT compatible with NS13. See Link’s NS14 ECU
- North American S13/S14 240SX (KA24DE): SR20DET or CA18DET engine swap required — confirm your swap’s ECU harness connector
Onboard MAP Sensor — 4-Bar vs 7-Bar
The NS13 includes an onboard MAP sensor configurable for either 4-bar or 7-bar range:
- 4-Bar MAP: Reads up to approximately 300 kPa absolute — suitable for most street and track SR20DET/CA18DET builds running up to approximately 29 PSI (2 bar) boost at sea level. Appropriate for the majority of S13/S14 builds
- 7-Bar MAP: Reads up to approximately 700 kPa absolute — for extreme high-boost applications exceeding the 4-bar range. Only required for builds targeting significantly elevated boost levels
Select the appropriate range during installation and confirm with your tuner based on your target boost levels.

Installation
True plug-in installation — the NS13 PCB mounts inside the factory OEM ECU enclosure and connects to the factory 76-pin blue harness connector. No wiring cuts, no splicing, fully reversible. The factory ECU can be reinstalled if required. Link PC Link software (free download) is required for tuning and configuration.
