Its unique filter-to-housing interface (US PAT 9440175) not only makes for a simple installation, but also allows for a large inverted 3.8”x 9" air filter. The filter’s Pro 5R media features five progressively finer porosity cotton gauze layers that provide maximum airflow and performance. Mandrel-Bent Tubing:A one piece 3.5" mandrel-bent wrinkle-black powder-coated aluminum intake tube directs unrestricted airflow from the filter to the throttle body for more horsepower and torque.
