The included splitter has its own textured black finish; that does not make the intercooler a black coated version. Verify compatibility with aftermarket turbochargers, bypass valves and hood modifications before installation.

The GrimmSpeed GRM090027 top mount intercooler combines a raw aluminum finish with a 17.5 × 8.7 × 3.5-inch cross-flow bar-and-plate core. Cast aluminum end tanks, reinforced silicone couplers and a wide-mouth hood-scoop splitter form a matched charge-air cooling package for the turbocharged Legacy GT and Outback XT.
