The K&N 57-1135 cold air intake system replaces the factory air filter and air intake housing on many Can-Am Maverick 1000 models for a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque. Air is directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine's throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube is designed to accommodate the factory crank case vent hose. The system is paired with a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton filter media, which is protected by an embossed air box that installs into the original air box space under the hood panel. The oversized, conical filter design allows you to go up to 100,000 miles between filter services under normal highway driving conditions. Can typically be installed in 90 minutes or less using standard hand tools. Legal in all 50 States.
