The factory hot-side pipe for the L5P is a measly 2.5in that chokes the engine, while the tight bends and built-in resonator create even more restriction. The Mishimoto hot-side intercooler pipe is 3in in diameter throughout and eliminates the factory resonator to significantly increase airflow, resulting in more power potential. Mishimoto designed this pipe as two pieces, like the factory pipe, for ease of install. This kit also includes our silicone boots with DuraCore™ technology.
