NGK Waste-Spark Ignition Coil | 48905 / U4041

The NGK 48905 ignition coil, also identified as U4041, is a stock-replacement coil for compatible distributorless waste-spark ignition systems. Catalogued applications include the 1998 Toyota Supra Base, with exact ignition-system compatibility to be verified before purchase. Ships fast across Canada and the US.

Match the ignition system: This is a COP (waste-spark) coil, not a universal coil conversion or a blanket fit for every Supra engine. Confirm the installed engine, original coil reference, connector and mounting arrangement. Turbo, imported, engine-swapped and aftermarket ignition configurations require separate verification.

Quantity & Installation

This listing is for one replacement coil, not a complete engine set. Check the required coil quantity for the installed ignition system before ordering.

Have a qualified technician diagnose the ignition fault and inspect the connectors, wiring, spark plugs and related ignition components before replacement. Follow the vehicle service procedure for installation and fastener torque. No horsepower increase or guaranteed misfire repair is claimed.
