Reclinable Bucket — Street and Track Usability

The Prisma Lab’s reclinable seatback is the defining feature that separates it from a fixed-back racing seat. Fixed-back bucket seats deliver maximum lateral support and are typically lighter, but their fixed upright angle makes them uncomfortable for extended street driving and may not comply with occupant restraint regulations in a street-registered vehicle without a roll cage. The RSC-710’s adjustable seatback allows you to dial in the angle for your driving position — more upright for spirited driving, slightly reclined for comfortable highway cruising — making it a practical upgrade for daily-driven builds that also see track days or canyon runs.

Bucket Seat Design

Deep side bolsters keep the occupant firmly located under lateral load without the need for a harness. High thigh bolsters provide support during hard braking and cornering. The bucket profile reduces the relaxed, unsupported seating position of OEM seats, improving driver feel and feedback during dynamic driving. The blue vinyl and fabric construction provides a clean, colourful cockpit aesthetic that’s a direct visual upgrade from OEM seating.

Mounting Brackets — Required, Sold Separately

The RSC-710L/R-BL uses a standard seat rail interface that requires a vehicle-specific mounting bracket to connect the seat to your vehicle’s floor mounts. NRG and several aftermarket bracket manufacturers offer application-specific brackets for most popular sport compact, JDM, and domestic vehicles. Confirm that a bracket is available for your specific year, make, and model before ordering the seats. Installing seats without the correct bracket is not safe and is not recommended.
