SPL Parts FE-Z34 front adjustable sway bar endlinks for the 2009+ Nissan 370Z (Z34), 2007–2008 Infiniti G35 Sedan (V35), and 2008+ Infiniti G37 (V36, RWD). 1/2” FK rod ends, heat-treated chromoly high-misalignment studs, length-adjustable design. Sold as a pair. Made in the USA. 2.8 lbs.
1/2” FK Rod Ends
SPL’s FE-Z34 uses Teflon-lined 1/2” FK rod end bearings — the largest diameter rod end in SPL’s endlink lineup. The larger 1/2” diameter provides significantly higher load capacity compared to smaller rod ends, making these endlinks appropriate for use with stiff aftermarket sway bars where forces transmitted through the endlink are substantially higher than stock. FK bearings are a US-manufactured aerospace and motorsport grade rod end — the standard reference for high-quality rod ends in performance suspension applications.
Chromoly High-Misalignment Studs — 65-Degree Articulation
SPL’s custom heat-treated chromoly shanks with electroless nickel plating feature high-misalignment geometry that allows up to 65 degrees of articulation at each rod end. This extreme articulation range prevents the endlink from binding when the sway bar moves through its range of motion — particularly important when the endlink is connected to different adjustment holes on an aftermarket sway bar, which changes the effective length and angle of the endlink relative to the bar. Binding in a standard endlink at the rod end limits sway bar travel and introduces unwanted load into the bar and chassis mounting points.
Length-Adjustable Design
The FE-Z34 is threaded for length adjustment, allowing the endlink to be set to the correct length for the vehicle’s current ride height and suspension configuration. This eliminates preload on the sway bar — a condition where the bar is placed under tension or compression at static ride height due to incorrect endlink length. Preload alters the effective spring rate contribution of the sway bar at rest and can cause handling imbalances, particularly after spring changes, corner balancing, or ride height adjustments. Adjustable endlinks allow the system to be correctly zeroed regardless of suspension configuration.
