Compact Body — Full-Size Performance

The 260-10372’s 3.37-inch compact body provides 2.16 inches of additional clearance between the mounting flange and the fluid outlet compared to a standard-length master cylinder — critical in tight firewall, pedal box, or chassis rail mounting applications where a full-size cylinder will not physically fit. Construction and Porting

The 1/8-inch NPT fluid outlet port is located at the top radius of the cylinder bore — this positioning minimises the risk of air becoming trapped in the outlet during bleeding, making the system easier to bleed fully. The fluid inlet port contains 11/16-20 internal threads, accepting the standard reservoir included in the kit and also providing compatibility with custom reservoir arrangements for applications where the standard reservoir cannot be positioned conventionally.

Remote Mount — Reservoir Separation

The 260-10372 is a remote master cylinder: the fluid reservoir mounts separately from the master cylinder body via a hose or fitting connection, rather than sitting directly on top of the cylinder. This allows the reservoir to be positioned where it is most accessible for fluid level inspection and topping up, while the master cylinder itself is mounted in the optimal position for pedal geometry and force transfer.
