BC Racing’s BR Series coilovers for the 2010–2016 Mercedes-Benz E-Class W212 in RWD configuration. Full coilover set — front and rear — with 30-way adjustable damping, independent ride height adjustment, Swift springs, and pillow ball upper mounts. BC Racing’s most widely specified street/track coilover platform, direct-fit for the W212 RWD suspension.
BR Series — Key Features
- 30-Way Damping Adjustment: Single-knob 30-position adjustment — turn clockwise to firm, counter-clockwise to soften. Start at the middle setting (15 clicks from full soft) and adjust to preference. Covers the full range from comfortable daily driving through aggressive track use
- Independent Ride Height Adjustment: Ride height is adjusted via the lower mount independently of spring preload and damping — lower the car without compromising spring function or requiring damping re-adjustment
- Swift Springs: Japanese-manufactured Swift springs — known for consistent spring rates, low hysteresis, and long service life. Better ride compliance and more consistent damping response than standard coilover springs
- Pillow Ball Upper Mounts: Replaces factory rubber top mounts with pillow ball (spherical bearing) mounts — eliminates rubber compliance for sharper steering response and more direct suspension feel. Note: pillow ball mounts transmit more NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) to the cabin than factory rubber mounts — expected for a performance coilover application
- Corrosion-Resistant Construction: Coated shock bodies and springs for long-term durability in road salt and moisture environments

RWD only — confirm drivetrain before ordering. Professional installation strongly recommended. A full wheel alignment is required after installation — budget for this before purchasing. Allow 200–300 km for springs to settle before making final height adjustments. Re-torque all fasteners after the first 150–200 km. Pillow ball mounts will transmit increased NVH compared to factory rubber mounts — this is normal and expected.
