Refund policy

Cancellation fees

  • Orders that are cancelled for any reason will be subject to a 5% processing fee, with a minimum of $20 charged. This applies to parts that have not shipped from the manufacturer already or Straight Six Imports.
  • Items that have already shipped from the manufacturer (on route to Straight Six) cannot be cancelled for any reason. If you are working with a deadline, contact us before ordering and we can confirm stock status and lead time.

Final Sale items / conditions

  • Electronics/sensors and custom built items (wheels, coilovers etc.) are final sale. No exceptions.
  • No cancellations, refunds or returns will be accepted on special order items. This includes things like custom built wheels, custom spec’d coilovers or specialty ordered items from Japan and other overseas countries.  Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
  • Wheels that do not fit are not eligible for return unless an exception is made in circumstances where incorrect fitment was advised by a Straight Six employee. Please research fitment prior to ordering.

Returning orders

  • Return Requests must be submitted within 14 days of receiving an order.
  • Approved Return Requests must be received by Straight Six within 30 days of approval date. Returns received after 30 days will be shipped back at the buyers expense.
  • Item must be returned in its original package with all package contents.
  • All returns are subject to inspection. Any part that, in our opinion, shows evidence of being used or installed, or subjected to improper handling, packaging, or shipping by the customer will not be eligible for exchange, refund, or warranty consideration.
  • Return must be requested by original purchaser and any credit or refund will be issued to the original buyer.
  • A 25% re-stocking fee on the item subtotal will be applied to refunds. Select returns will be eligible for a store credit at the discretion of Straight Six. The restocking fee will be waived if buyer accepts store credit when offered (minus the original shipping fee paid by Straight Six).
  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping back to Straight Six.
  • Straight Six Imports is not liable for any labor or repair fees under any circumstance. Any defective product must be reported to Straight Six immediately, and go through the manufacturers warranty and policy process.

Shipping Insurance

Optional shipping insurance offered by Straight Six provides coverage for items that are delivered with damage. Items that are missing as a result of package theft (shipping carrier shows delivered but package was suspected stolen) are not included and should be reported to your local authorities and to your home insurance provider immediately. Straight Six will assist with invoices and any evidential information required by these parties.

If an item is missing from your package, or an incorrect item is received, contact us to arrange an exchange or re-shipment.


Shipping related claims

Claims for missing items, incorrect items, or items damaged in transit must be submitted to Straight Six within 48 hours of receiving an order. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within the time frame above so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Claims submitted after 48 hours of receiving an shipment will not be accepted.


Undeliverable items

Buyer will be responsible for paying all fees associated with an undeliverable item. This includes return shipping costs to Straight Six as well as costs to ship the order again. If a refund is requested for an undeliverable item, the return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund on top of restocking fees (25%) noted above.


Warranties

Straight Six Imports does not independently warranty any broken or defective parts. Warranty is only available from the manufacturer directly. We cannot make any decisions about warranties. This is determined by the manufacture upon review. We will help to facilitate any warranty claims, including shipping, on a customers behalf.


Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
