LHD Fitment — Critical Note:

This kit is for left-hand drive (LHD) vehicles only — it will NOT fit right-hand drive (RHD) vehicles. The N54 335i/335xi/335is was sold in both LHD and RHD configurations in different markets. Verify your specific vehicle's steering configuration before ordering. This kit will also fit the BMW 135i, 535i, and Z4 35i with N54 engine if the charge pipe and rear turbo return coolant line are converted to the LHD 335i specification — this conversion is the responsibility of the installer and is not included in the kit.

Tuning — Required:

A professional tune is required after Stage 2+ turbo installation. The Stage 2+ turbos operate at significantly different boost levels, spool characteristics, and airflow volumes than the factory turbos — the factory ECU calibration is not appropriate for Stage 2+ hardware and will result in incorrect fuelling, incorrect boost control, and potential engine damage. A professional tune by an N54-experienced tuner on a capable ECU tuning platform (MHD, BM3, or equivalent) is required before the engine is run under boost with the Stage 2+ turbos installed. Budget for a professional tune as part of the Stage 2+ upgrade cost.
