Why This Radiator
The stock 240SX radiator is engineered for the naturally-aspirated KA24 — adequate for the factory application but undersized for the heat loads generated by a turbocharged KA24 or an LS V8 swap. A turbocharged KA24 running elevated boost and timing produces substantially more heat than a stock NA engine. An LS swap introduces a much larger displacement engine with significantly higher thermal output into an engine bay that the stock cooling system was never designed to handle. The Koyorad RH020539N is built to address these elevated cooling demands with an all-aluminium core sized for the application.
