Filter Design

AWE reports an 85% increase in filter surface area compared with stock. This is a filter-area comparison, not an 85% increase in airflow or engine power. The airbox can be installed independently or paired with the separate AWE carbon turbo inlet.

Installation and Maintenance

AWE states no tune is required for its intended configuration. Have the installer check compatibility with existing engine modifications or calibration. Follow the current installation instructions for sensor handling, coupler connections and clearance checks.

Maintain the washable S-FLO filter according to AWE's instructions. It is an oil-less filter; do not apply filter oil. No airbox-only horsepower gain or extended maintenance interval is claimed.
