45-Degree Body Angle — Clearance in Swap Applications
The adapter body angles the 6AN connection 45 degrees from the M17 thread axis. In engine swap applications — particularly 2JZ or 1JZ swaps into S13/S14 or other non-Toyota chassis — the Toyota rack’s high-pressure port often points in a direction that conflicts with the surrounding subframe, engine mount, or block when a straight adapter is used.
