Gram Lights 57CR Clubracer – 18x9.5 +22 | 5x114.3 | Ceramic Pearl | WGCRX22ECPP
+22 offset is an extreme low-offset fitment — not for standard-fender vehicles. At 18x9.5 with +22mm offset, this wheel will protrude significantly beyond the fender line of virtually all stock-fender 5x114.3 vehicles. This spec is intended for wide-body builds, full fender flare installations, or static/stance setups with pulled and rolled fenders. Do not order for a standard-fender application without confirming fitment with a knowledgeable installer. Hub-centric rings are required for all listed vehicles (73.1mm hub bore). Single wheel — priced individually.
Gram Lights 57CR Clubracer in 18x9.5 +22, 5x114.3, Ceramic Pearl. Flow-formed by Rays Engineering. The 57CR’s open curved-spoke circuit design at an extreme low offset — 26.7 lbs per wheel, notably lighter than the same model at higher offsets due to the reduced barrel depth. Ceramic Pearl is a warm pearlescent off-white finish that produces a premium, refined appearance in show and street builds. Ships fast across Canada and the US.
+22 Offset — Understanding This Fitment
Offset is the distance from the wheel’s hub mounting face to its centreline. At +22mm, the hub face is only 22mm inboard of the wheel’s centreline — meaning the bulk of the wheel’s 9.5" width extends outboard of the hub. To understand how extreme this is in practice:
- vs +38 (standard performance fitment): The +38 57CR (separate listing, same model) sits 16mm further inboard than this +22 wheel. That 16mm difference means the +22 protrudes 16mm more beyond the fender than the +38 at the same vehicle position. On a 9.5" wide wheel, 16mm of additional protrusion is very visible.
- vs OEM (typical 5x114.3 vehicle): Most 5x114.3 performance vehicles use OEM offsets between +45 and +55. The difference between OEM +50 and this +22 is 28mm of outboard protrusion — more than an inch of additional wheel poke beyond what the vehicle was designed to accommodate. Standard fenders will not clear this wheel without modification.
- Correct applications: Wide-body kits with extended fender flares (50–80mm overfender), full fender flare conversion builds, static stance builds with extreme negative camber and pulled fenders, and purpose-built drift cars with overfenders. Also a legitimate rear fitment option on some Nissan GT-R (R35) builds where the rear wheel arch is wide enough to accommodate low-offset fitments.
Weight Advantage at Low Offset
At 26.7 lbs, this +22 57CR is 3.3 lbs lighter than the +38 57CR (30 lbs) despite identical diameter and width. This is a direct result of the lower offset geometry:
- Lower offset = shorter barrel depth (the barrel extends less inward behind the spoke face). Less barrel depth = less aluminium material in the barrel section = lower overall wheel weight.
- For drift and track applications where unsprung weight matters, the weight reduction at +22 is a genuine advantage over higher-offset variants of the same wheel.
Ceramic Pearl — Finish
Ceramic Pearl (ECPP) is a warm, pearlescent off-white finish in the Gram Lights colour palette. Distinct from a bright or cool white — the Ceramic Pearl has a slightly warm, cream undertone with a subtle pearl shimmer that shifts in different lighting conditions. In direct sunlight, the pearl effect is visible as a soft iridescence across the spoke faces. Key aesthetic notes:
- Pairs exceptionally well with dark body colours — black, dark grey, navy, and dark green — where the Ceramic Pearl provides strong contrast without the harshness of a bright white. Also works well on white and silver vehicles for a tone-on-tone approach.
- A refined, premium finish character compared to gloss white — the pearl effect gives depth that flat white lacks. Suits show builds, clean street builds, and time-attack liveries where wheel contrast is part of the visual presentation.
- Less bold than Sakura Pink but equally intentional — Ceramic Pearl is the choice for builds where the wheel finish complements rather than dominates the overall colour scheme.
57CR Clubracer Design
The 57CR’s open curved-spoke design provides genuine brake cooling airflow benefit in track and circuit use. At +22 offset with 9.5" width, the concavity is deep and pronounced — the outer lip is wide and the spoke face sits well back from it, producing the 57CR’s most dramatic visual profile at this spec. Wide-body builds with the 57CR at +22 in Ceramic Pearl produce a clean, purposeful aesthetic where the wheel’s concavity and the extended fender flares complement each other.
Hub Bore and Hub-Centric Rings
The 57CR 5x114.3 uses a 73.1mm hub bore. Hub-centric rings are required for all common 5x114.3 performance vehicles: Subaru (56.1mm), Nissan (66.1mm — note: Nissan GT-R R35 hub bore is 66.1mm), Honda (64.1mm), Mitsubishi (67.1mm). Confirm your specific vehicle hub bore and source the appropriate hub ring before mounting.
