Construction
- 3" Mandrel-Bent 304 Stainless Steel: 3-inch diameter tubing throughout, mandrel-bent to maintain consistent internal diameter through bends — no crimping or flow restriction at bend points. 304 stainless steel for corrosion resistance and longevity under heat cycling
- 100% Hand TIG-Welded: Every joint TIG-welded by hand for a clean, strong, leak-free weld. TIG welding is the preferred method for stainless exhaust fabrication — produces cleaner welds with less heat distortion than MIG
- Straight-Through Resonator: The SES1500TT uses a straight-through resonator design — exhaust gases flow through the resonator core without the restriction of a traditional baffled muffler. This maximises flow while the resonator housing still shapes the exhaust tone — providing a powerful, deep exhaust note without being excessively loud or raspy
- Dual 4.5" Burnt Titanium Tips: Two 4.5-inch burnt titanium-finish exhaust tips. The burnt titanium finish gives the tips a heat-gradient colour — blue/purple/gold tones from the tip face inward, a common aesthetic on performance exhaust systems
Performance
Injen dyno-tested the SES1500TT on the 10th gen Civic Hatchback 1.5T and recorded gains of up to +12 horsepower and +13 lb-ft torque over the factory cat-back system. Gains are measured at the test conditions and represent peak increases — real-world results will vary with vehicle condition, tune, and supporting modifications. The 3-inch straight-through design is the primary contributor to the flow improvement over the factory system.
