ISC Suspension N1 V2 Street Sport Coilovers | Scion FR-S / Subaru BRZ / Toyota 86 / GR86 | 32-Way Damping | Full-Length Height Adj. | S018-S
ISC Suspension N1 V2 Street Sport Coilovers – Scion FR-S / Subaru BRZ / Toyota 86 / GR86 | S018-S
ISC Suspension’s N1 V2 Street Sport coilover kit for the Scion FR-S (2013–2016), Subaru BRZ (2013–2024), Toyota 86 (2017–2021), and Toyota GR86 (2022+). 32-way damping adjustability, full-length ride height adjustment (up to 3 inches of drop), mono-tube damper design, front adjustable camber plates, T6061 aluminium components, and SAE9254 high-strength steel springs. The Street Sport (S) variant is ISC’s street-biased setup within the N1 V2 line — engineered for a daily-driven FR-S/BRZ/86 that also sees track days and spirited driving, without the harshness of a dedicated track-only coilover.
Full-Length Ride Height Adjustment — Why It Matters
On a budget coilover, ride height is adjusted by threading the lower spring perch up or down on the shock body — but because the spring sits between the lower perch and the upper mount, changing the perch position also changes spring preload. Lower the car on a budget coilover and you’re also increasing spring preload, which stiffens the effective spring rate and reduces available suspension travel. The ISC N1 V2 uses full-length ride height adjustment — the lower mounting bracket adjusts independently of the spring perch, allowing ride height to be set without affecting spring preload or suspension travel. Lower the car up to 3 inches and the suspension geometry, travel, and spring rate remain consistent. This is a meaningful quality differentiator that separates mid-tier and premium coilovers from budget alternatives.
Key Features
- 32-Way Damping Adjustment: 32 levels of damping adjustability — dial from a compliant street setting to a firm track setup. The FR-S/BRZ/86 platform responds well to damping tuning, particularly at the rear where oversteer balance is sensitive to rear damping stiffness. 32-way resolution provides meaningfully more fine-tuning capability than typical 16-way coilovers
- Full-Length Ride Height Adjustment: Up to 3 inches of lowering available with no compromise to spring preload, suspension travel, or effective spring rate. Adjust stance and corner weight independently of spring setup
- Mono-Tube Damper Design: Mono-tube shock bodies provide superior heat dissipation and more consistent damping control than twin-tube designs — maintains performance during sustained track use where shock temperatures rise through repeated cornering cycles
- Front Adjustable Camber Plates: Included on all four front coilovers — allows front negative camber to be set beyond the factory adjustment range. Essential for track alignment, and useful for aggressive street setups on a platform that benefits significantly from increased front camber
- T6061 Aluminium Components: Key components machined from T6061 aluminium alloy — high strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistant, and dimensionally stable under the thermal cycling of performance driving
- SAE9254 Steel Springs: High-quality SAE9254 silicon-chromium steel springs — a premium spring steel used in high-performance applications for its fatigue resistance and consistent spring rate over time. Does not take a set (permanently compress) the way lower-quality spring steels can
- Corrosion-Resistant Finish: Finished for long-term corrosion resistance — relevant for Canadian climate use where road salt exposure is a genuine coilover longevity concern
- ISC Suspension Warranty: Backed by ISC’s comprehensive warranty — confirm warranty terms with ISC Suspension directly
Fitment
- Scion FR-S (2013–2016)
- Subaru BRZ (2013–2024)
- Toyota 86 (2017–2021)
- Toyota GR86 (2022+)
A four-wheel alignment is required after installation — use the front camber plates to set front camber as part of the alignment. A baseline damping setting of 16/32 (mid-point) is a recommended starting point for street use — adjust from there based on driving conditions and preference. Professional installation recommended. Note: GR86 (2022+) uses the ZN8 platform — confirm fitment for your specific production date before ordering.
