Momo Montecarlo — Heritage Design

The Montecarlo is one of Momo’s long-running flagship steering wheel designs, rooted in the Italian motorsport tradition that established Momo as the reference standard for aftermarket steering wheels. The 3-spoke deep dish layout is a classic motorsport geometry — the spokes curve rearward significantly before reaching the hub, bringing the rim closer to the driver when paired with a standard hub adapter. This deep dish profile is particularly suited to track, race seat, and aggressive driving position setups where a more forward seating position shortens the natural reach to the wheel.

350mm Diameter

At 350mm, the Montecarlo is smaller than most OEM steering wheels (which typically run 360–380mm) — reducing the leverage ratio slightly and giving a more direct, responsive steering feel. 350mm is the most popular diameter for aftermarket sport steering wheels and suits the majority of compact sports cars, JDM platforms, and European sport applications. Drivers with shorter arms or aggressive seating positions may prefer 330mm; those preferring a more relaxed feel may prefer 365mm. Momo’s Montecarlo is available in multiple diameters.

Black Leather / Red Stitch

The rim is wrapped in Momo’s black leather with red contrast stitching throughout. A vehicle-specific hub adapter is required to connect the wheel to your steering column. Hub adapters are sold separately — select the correct adapter for your vehicle’s make, model, and year. Short hub adapters and quick-release systems are also compatible with the Momo 6-bolt 70mm interface.
